Role Overview

We are looking for versatile Software Developers to join our engineering team, contributing to cutting-edge global banking technology. You'll be involved with the full technology stack — from creating user-friendly frontend experiences to scalable backend services, API design, and integrations with banking and payment partners. Your contributions will range from developing new customer-facing features to crafting core platform architecture, all while collaborating in a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack features including frontend interfaces (React) and backend APIs.
• Build secure and scalable financial systems supporting cross-border payments, ledgers, and partner integrations.
• Enhance user experience by delivering fast, accessible, and intuitive workflows across the platform.
• Create high-performing backend services ensuring consistency, availability, and reliability for complex financial transactions.
• Maintain platform robustness through writing automated tests, monitoring, and resolving production issues.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to create balanced, maintainable technical solutions.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural planning to shape the platform’s future.
• Mentor teammates, share knowledge, stay updated on technologies, and promote continuous improvement.

• Experience developing production web applications.

• Background in building backend services, APIs, and working with relational databases.
• Understanding of scalability, security, and performance for production systems.

Preferred Extras

• Prior work in fintech, banking, payments, lending, or financial services.
• Experience with distributed systems and architectures emphasizing high availability.
• Knowledge of secure coding and financial compliance standards.
• Familiarity with accounting or financial reporting concepts.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and React is advantageous, but rapid learners are welcome.

Hiring Procedure

• Initial 30-minute video conversation with the Head of Engineering.
• One-hour in-person technical interview with engineering team members.
• Paid 2-3 day working trial including meetings with the CEO and Chief of Staff.
• Background screening and offer process including criminal record and identity verification, adverse media, global watchlist and sanctions, and politically exposed persons checks.
