This role involves managing the end-to-end ticket lifecycle for over 25,000 tickets, from procurement through distribution, while ensuring a premium experience for donors, VIPs, and internal stakeholders. The Ticket Manager will serve as the primary liaison with the external On Location ticketing team, oversee seating arrangements, and supervise a small team within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct all ticketing operations for the Games Hospitality initiative, handling procurement, inventory control, allocation, customization, and delivery of a substantial ticket inventory.
  • Provide expert guidance on ticketing systems, including event setup, seating configurations, user management, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with On Location ticketing and external partners on inventory management, delivery scheduling, system enhancements, and resolving service concerns.
  • Develop and execute allocation strategies aligned with program priorities to ensure equitable ticket distribution among donors, VIPs, hospitality attendees, and staff.
  • Manage seating plans and ticket customization, guaranteeing accuracy and a superior guest experience.
  • Support donor and stakeholder inquiries related to ticketing, addressing issues and communicating policies professionally.
  • Maintain financial oversight by tracking ticket-related expenses, reconciling inventory usage, and preparing leadership and finance reports.
  • Supervise and mentor a ticketing team, establishing workflows and ensuring consistent, deadline-driven execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with hospitality, operations, donor relations, finance, and other teams to enhance ticketing and guest services.
  • Contribute to event readiness activities including ticket audits, distribution planning, contingency management, and process improvements.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of five years in ticketing operations, extensive event management, or ticketing roles in sports/entertainment, with expertise handling complex inventory and multi-level guest groups.
  • Experience supporting premium hospitality programs, VIPs, or donors at major events or within sports and entertainment organizations.
  • Proven track record working with external ticketing vendors, rights holders, or third-party partners.
  • Proficiency in ticketing platforms, inventory management software, and digital ticket tools including user administration and reporting.
  • Strong data management skills, accurate record-keeping, and concise operational reporting for leadership and finance.
  • Expertise in managing ticket budgets, cost tracking, and inventory risk assessment across diverse programs.
  • Experience recruiting, training, and leading small teams in high-pressure, time-sensitive settings.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate ticketing procedures, seating arrangements, and system functionalities to donors, staff, and stakeholders.
