Role overview
HSBC is looking for a senior professional to lead the website function for Singapore. This role sits at GCB 5 level and focuses on improving digital experiences across the bank’s public website and in-app content, with an emphasis on journey design, optimisation, experimentation, and governance.
This opportunity is suited to someone who can combine content, customer experience, analytics, and stakeholder leadership to improve performance across web and app channels.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of HSBC Singapore’s public website and in-app content, ensuring it is well managed and continuously improved.
- Improve customer journeys and conversion outcomes across both web and app touchpoints.
- Lead testing, experimentation, and other initiatives that lift digital performance.
- Use data, insights, and performance signals to guide content and optimisation decisions.
- Serve as the connection point between global and local stakeholders, aligning priorities and execution.
- Promote governance standards and digital best practices across the website ecosystem.
What the role calls for
- Background in digital content, website administration, or digital optimisation, ideally gained in financial services or a large enterprise.
- Strong grasp of customer journey design, UX principles, and conversion optimisation with a full-funnel approach.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI Engine Optimisation (GEO), including improving discoverability, retrieval, relevance, and accuracy for AI-assisted search and answer engines through structured content methods.
- Practical experience running A/B tests or broader experimentation programs and turning findings into measurable improvements.
- Well-developed stakeholder management abilities, including the confidence to influence across markets, functions, and seniority levels in a matrixed organisation.
- Capability to work effectively in a matrix structure and identify opportunities for cross-team integration.
