Web Intelligence Analyst

About the Role

Alice, a company specializing in trust, safety, and security within the AI era, is looking for an experienced Web Intelligence Analyst to join their team in England, UK. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive intelligence gathering and reporting to support clients in mitigating online risks across various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-level investigations using open-source intelligence techniques and generate specialized reports related to Trust and Safety.
• Continuously monitor third-party websites, forums, messaging app channels, and other online venues to detect harmful or malicious activities.
• Evaluate content against platform-specific policies to ensure appropriateness for vulnerable groups, proposing suitable measures where necessary.
• Collaborate with product and intelligence teams by analyzing customer pain points, trends in the industry, and aiding in the understanding of client needs.
• Analyze large datasets and distill findings into actionable intelligence.

Candidate Requirements

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Web Intelligence (WEBINT) or Open Source Intelligence (OSINT).
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English, with strong communication capabilities.
• Resilience and ability to cope with exposure to sensitive or potentially distressing materials.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background or experience in Trust and Safety Policy enforcement.
• Proactive, independent thinker and self-starter.
• Ability to quickly acquire new skills related to emerging practice areas and technological tools.
• Experience in intelligence or research roles is advantageous.
• Proficiency in at least two languages is a plus.
• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with Generative AI technologies.
