Arabic Language Expert (Remote Contractor)

Role Overview

We are seeking an Arabic Language Expert to work as a remote contractor. This role involves reviewing AI-generated Arabic and English content, producing high-quality bilingual training materials, and providing expert feedback on problem-solving approaches and reasoning quality. The expert will be responsible for assessing solution accuracy, clarity, prompt adherence, and identifying errors or misconceptions. Fact-checking and writing precise explanations to demonstrate correct methods will be key parts of this role.

This contract offers hourly pay with full flexibility to work from anywhere globally. While there is no immediate project, qualified experts will be considered first for upcoming opportunities and gain access to future assignments through our expert network.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Linguistics, Translation, Arabic Language, Communications, Journalism, or related fields.
• Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic, including strong writing and editing in Modern Standard Arabic and at least one major dialect, preferably Egyptian Arabic.
• English proficiency at C1 level or above for reading and writing to evaluate bilingual content effectively.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in translation, localization, editorial quality assurance, content quality, or linguistic review, or equivalent background.
• High attention to detail with the ability to apply detailed assessment criteria consistently in high-volume contractor work.
• Strong fact-checking skills using credible sources as required by guidelines.
• Skill in detecting flaws in reasoning, methodology, and clarity, even when language use is fluent.
• Comfortable working independently in an asynchronous, remote environment with dependable availability and communication.
• Preferred experience includes working with AI data annotation, training, or evaluation processes.
• Familiarity with Arabic localization conventions across MENA — including terminology, formatting, and cultural nuances — is advantageous.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create detailed AI training prompts and responses across diverse topics to help models accurately learn and apply knowledge.
• Evaluate and rank AI-generated responses to improve model accuracy, fluency, and contextual relevance.
• Test AI models for reliability, identifying potential inaccuracies or biases in various use cases.
