About the Role
Cpac Modular is seeking a skilled and qualified Architectural Technologist holding at least a Bachelor's degree. The ideal candidate should have between three to five years of post-graduate experience, with a background in working within architectural design teams and strong proficiency in Revit software. This position involves close collaboration with various departments including Design, Procurement, Production, and Construction, as well as interaction with lead design teams and clients. The successful candidate will contribute to a diverse range of projects spanning education, commercial, and healthcare sectors, providing significant opportunity for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform traditional architectural designs into modular buildings that comply fully with Technical Guidance Documents and other relevant Irish industry standards.
- Perform calculations for U-Value, Daylight Factor, Purge and Background Ventilation to ensure compliance with design standards.
- Develop comprehensive Revit drawing packages covering Tender, Design, Construction, and As-Built phases.
- Produce Submittals and Installation Drawings subject to Lead Architect approval.
- Provide assistance and direct reporting to the Senior Design Manager.
- Coordinate and liaise meetings with design teams, subcontractors, and clients.
Essential Education and Skills
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Technology.
- Advanced expertise in Revit with a minimum of three years’ operational experience.
- Between three and five years of post-qualification experience across a range of project types.
- Strong technical capability in modelling, drawing preparation, and detailing within Revit.
- Thorough understanding of current Irish building regulations, with hands-on experience applying them.
- Familiarity with Statutory Consent procedures including Planning, Fire Safety Certificate Application (FSCA), and Disability Access Certificate (DAC).
- Prior involvement in the design and construction of educational, residential, or commercial projects is advantageous.
