Your Role as Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager at the Eaton Centre location by leading the team and ensuring smooth daily store operations. This role requires a proactive retail leadership style that embodies Herschel’s energetic and creative spirit, fostering a positive environment that delights customers and drives loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead the team, promoting a high-energy culture based on trust and collaboration.
• Coach and mentor Sales Associates and Key Holders to help them achieve personal and brand goals.
• Assist in recruitment, staff scheduling, payroll administration, and operational management.
• Deliver outstanding customer service through authentic connections and attentive engagement.
• Maintain store appearance by executing visual merchandising and storytelling aligned with seasonal themes.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to analyze key performance indicators, discover growth opportunities, and recognize achievements.
• Ensure operational accuracy in inventory control, cash handling, and security measures.
• Participate in community engagement and marketing activities that align with brand values and local culture.

Candidate Profile

• Proven track record in retail leadership as a Key Holder or Assistant Store Manager.
• Competent in floor leadership and supporting team excellence.
• Knowledgeable about retail KPIs with the ability to enhance performance through coaching.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Innovative, curious, and self-driven in all aspects of work.
• Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service experiences.
• Reliable, flexible, and willing to contribute wherever needed.
• Advocate for teamwork and clear communication, demonstrating consistent professionalism.

Position Details

• Full-time role with a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Hourly pay ranges from 23 to 25 dollars, based on experience.
