Role Overview
This role is a full-time 6-month contract for an Associate Consultant (Data Analyst) position based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne. Only applicants with valid Australian work authorization will be considered.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Begin contributing effectively immediately without extensive supervision.
- Take full ownership of data discovery and analysis tasks.
- Engage directly with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
- Develop precise analytical documentation ready for developer use.
- Maintain delivery speed without burdening team members with additional training.
Required Expertise and Skills
- Demonstrated extensive experience as a senior data analyst in complex enterprise settings.
- Strong familiarity with the Insights Platform to drive business outcomes.
- Proven skills in leading workshops and stakeholder interviews to refine business needs.
- In-depth technical knowledge of enterprise data models, lineage, and architectural frameworks.
- Adept at quickly understanding business operations and mapping data flows.
- Excellent documentation capabilities including data mapping, lineage, functional/non-functional requirements, and transformation logic.
- Advanced SQL proficiency for creating queries and validation tools supporting development phases.
- Experience providing clarifications and validations to development and testing teams.
- Effective stakeholder engagement skills with business leaders and technical teams.
