Role Overview

This position is for a full-time Barista to join the team onsite in Doha, Qatar. Daily duties involve crafting and serving a range of coffee and other beverage options adhering to set recipes and quality benchmarks. The Barista will welcome guests, take and process orders and payments, and deliver attentive service both at the counter and in seating areas as needed. Additional responsibilities include assisting with basic food preparation, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the workspace, restocking supplies, and complying with hygiene and safety protocols. Collaboration with fellow staff is key to maintaining smooth daily operations and delivering a consistently pleasant guest experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent customer service abilities and interpersonal skills to engage with guests courteously and professionally.
• Competency in barista tasks including preparation of espresso-based beverages and proper use of coffee machinery.
• Clear communication skills for effective order handling, teamwork, and addressing guest questions.
• Capable of assisting with straightforward food items while adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards.
• Physical stamina to stand for long durations and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, managing several tasks especially during busy periods.
• Basic mathematics skills necessary for cash handling, card transactions, and accurate bill reconciliation.
• Prior experience in cafés, coffee shops, or restaurants is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays based on business requirements.
