Role overview

The Branch Manager will be responsible for leading branch operations, driving business growth, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring the branch remains compliant, profitable, and well-managed. The role also includes coordination with teams and external stakeholders, along with periodic field activity linked to marketing and collections.

Customer focus

• Build and sustain regular engagement with both existing and prospective customers.
• Track market movement and customer needs to support product innovation, cross-selling, and upselling.
• Take part in marketing initiatives and help execute them to strengthen customer acquisition and retention.
• Deliver high-quality service so that customers remain satisfied and loyal.

Branch performance and operations

• Meet branch business targets and support overall unit profitability.
• Carry out field visits as required for marketing and collection activities.
• Work with internal departments to keep branch operations running smoothly.
• Follow the prescribed manuals, policies, and operating procedures without deviation.
• Detect and prevent fraud risks early, protect assets and people, and uphold the organisation’s values and customer trust.
• Monitor receivables closely, follow up on recoveries, and safeguard cash flow while protecting customer interests.
• Maintain books of accounts, supporting documents, statutory records, branch premises, and physical assets in proper order.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies and outside agencies to ensure legal and compliance requirements are met.
• Perform duties under audit and gold inspection oversight.
• Keep a strong focus on branch profitability and ensure the assigned branch remains financially healthy.

Team leadership

• Provide timely guidance, support, and training to team members.
• Encourage knowledge sharing and learning within the team to support business growth and individual career development.
