Job Overview
This internship focuses on business intelligence within KSE's Strategy & Analytics department, reporting to the VP of Data & Analytics. The role involves collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and operational teams associated with multiple KSE sports teams. It entails working in a fast-paced and evolving environment where adaptability, strong interpersonal skills, and time management are crucial.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of revenue data to identify opportunities for profitable growth.
- Monitor and evaluate sales patterns to suggest appropriate pricing modifications.
- Analyze and recommend customer acquisition and retention campaigns, including segmentation and testing strategies.
- Develop methods for extracting and analyzing relevant data that support informed business decisions.
- Learn and utilize new and current software tools such as Tableau, SQL, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and emerging AI technologies.
- Promote the use of data-driven insights to inform organizational strategies.
- Completely document all work processes and activities for transparency and reproducibility.
Qualifications and Eligibility
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in business analytics, business intelligence, mathematics, computer science, data science, economics, or a closely related field.
- Must fulfill minimum qualification requirements at the time of hiring.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with analytical tools and programming languages such as Tableau, R, and Python.
- Understanding of data modeling concepts and proficiency with SQL databases.
- Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with both technical experts and business professionals.
- Capability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Conditions
This position operates under standard office conditions in Denver, Colorado.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation is set at $19.29 per hour.
