About The Role
The Rehab Group is a voluntary independent organization committed for over 70 years to supporting individuals with disabilities and their families. We serve over 12,000 people, fostering confidence, skills, and self-belief to help them achieve their goals. This permanent part-time role involves providing personal care services within a residential environment for people living with Intellectual Disabilities and Mental Health challenges. Our approach values respect, community inclusion, personal growth, and positive behavioral support to assist those with challenging behaviors.
Responsibilities
- Encourage and participate in teamwork to create a caring, supportive atmosphere for residents.
- Deliver person-centered services tailored to the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
- Provide personal care and support with manual handling, ensuring comfort, hygiene, and adherence to safety and risk assessment protocols.
Requirements
- Possession of QQI Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care.
- Valid full clean driving license.
- Experience working in a residential care setting.
- Experience supporting individuals with relevant disabilities and challenging behaviors.
- Provision of police clearance certificates for previous countries of residence, if applicable.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary starts from €31,561 to a €43,731 annually on a pro rata basis, dependent on experience and qualifications.
