Overview
Castlery is reimagining living spaces with thoughtful and practical designs, and seeks several Category Growth Managers to join their Commercial team. This role is key to driving category growth strategies and shaping a sustainable, customer-centric product assortment across multiple markets.
Role Responsibilities
- Accountable for the full annual profit and loss management of the assigned product category, focusing on boosting profitability.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 3-year roadmap and strategy for the category, setting revenue targets, identifying growth opportunities, and directing the category assortment and expansion plans.
- Lead seasonal product development aligned with the strategic roadmap, including decisions on range expansions, product discontinuations, margin approvals, and sales forecasting, collaborating closely with Category and Demand Planning teams.
- Oversee go-to-market plans for each seasonal product launch to ensure strong support and achievement of sales objectives.
- Manage monthly category Open-To-Buy processes, monitor sales and inventory health, and identify ways to enhance sales completion.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of category forecasts to align mid- and long-term trends with revenue goals alongside key stakeholders.
- Aggregate and prioritize customer and product feedback quarterly, using insights to guide future product development efforts.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5 to 7 years of experience in category growth or category management roles within leading retail or e-commerce companies, ideally within related product categories.
- Demonstrated success in formulating and executing strategies that drive category expansion and revenue growth.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex data and make well-informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of effective stakeholder engagement across organizational levels.
