Role Overview

CorroHealth is hiring certified Lab & Pathology Coders for its Chennai office. This is a full-time, work-from-office role, and immediate joiners are preferred.

What You Will Do

• Review laboratory and pathology documentation and translate it into precise medical codes.
• Apply the right ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes from the clinical records available.
• Study lab reports, pathology findings, and physician notes to support correct code selection.
• Follow coding rules, payer instructions, and applicable healthcare regulations.
• Work consistently to maintain strong accuracy and productivity levels.
• Detect coding errors or mismatches and correct them appropriately.
• Keep yourself current on code set revisions and changes in healthcare compliance requirements.

Who Can Apply

• Candidates must hold a valid coding certification such as CPC, CCS, COC, or an equivalent credential.
• Prior experience in lab and pathology coding is preferred.
• A solid grasp of medical terminology, human anatomy, and diagnostic processes is important.
• The role requires careful attention to detail and good analytical ability.
• Applicants should be comfortable working in a performance-oriented environment.
