Perform complete setup tasks on CNC Turning Centres or Vertical Machining Centres following process sheets and technical drawings.
Load CNC programs, configure work and tool offsets, and validate the initial components produced.
Select, install, and adjust tools; monitor tool condition and replace inserts when necessary.
Interpret engineering blueprints, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols, and process documentation.
Carry out first-piece and ongoing inspections using precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
Make minor adjustments to CNC programs (Fanuc or Siemens control systems) to correct dimensional deviations.
Meet daily production targets while ensuring rejection and rework rates remain within acceptable limits.
Adhere to 5S workplace organization, safety protocols, and preventive maintenance routines including daily CLIT checks.
Maintain accurate records of production and quality data using log sheets and management information systems.

Applicants with ITI certifications in Turner, Machinist, or Fitter trades, or Diploma holders in Mechanical Engineering.
