Communications Coordinator

Role Overview

The Communications Coordinator oversees and implements the Council’s communication efforts, including media relations, digital content creation, and community engagement strategies. This leadership position manages the daily functioning of the Communications Team to deliver timely and high-quality messaging that informs and connects the local community.

Qualifications and Expertise

Applicants should have either a formal qualification such as a degree in communications, media, or a related discipline, or possess extensive practical experience in media relations, corporate communications, or public relations.

• Proven experience in planning and executing communications, media, and public relations projects
• Excellent proficiency in both written and oral communication
• Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage media interactions
