About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Core Java Developer with over seven years of solid experience designing, developing, and sustaining enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Core Java, multithreading, collections, and data structures, with a strong background in backend development focused on creating scalable and high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain resilient Java-based applications.
- Author clean, efficient, and reusable code adhering to established best practices.
- Develop and fine-tune backend services and APIs to maximize performance.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and enhance application performance.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality software solutions.
- Build scalable and secure application architecture.
- Participate actively in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Core Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java versions 8, 11, and 17, including OOP, Collections, Generics, and Exception Handling.
- Hands-on expertise with multithreading, concurrency control, and memory management.
- Solid grasp of data structures and algorithmic principles.
- Experience with JDBC, SQL, and relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with design patterns and software engineering best practices.
- Experience using build automation tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Proficient in Git and version control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Spring Boot, RESTful API development, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with messaging platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Exposure to cloud services including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience working within Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
