Role Overview

We are inviting an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team where you will have the unique opportunity to develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and architecture from the ground up. Your expertise will help safeguard our systems by constructing configurations, settings, and automation using various third-party tools, alongside Azure and AWS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement tailored cybersecurity policies and procedures to align with organizational needs.
• Create and maintain secure configurations for IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and applications.
• Integrate and manage automation workflows using external security tools to improve efficiency and incident handling.
• Employ your knowledge of Azure and AWS to develop and uphold a robust cloud security posture following best practices and regulations.
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments to detect vulnerabilities and devise appropriate mitigation plans.
• Formulate and execute incident response procedures covering detection, containment, analysis, eradication, and recovery.
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements; assist with internal and external compliance audits.
• Document all policies, procedures, configurations, and incident response activities clearly and thoroughly.
• Educate and support staff on cybersecurity best practices and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity focusing on policy creation, configuration management, and cloud security.
• Highly regarded certifications include CISSP, CISM, CEH or their equivalents.
• Proficient in securing and managing Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Strong familiarity with third-party security tools and automation solutions.
• Experience in configuration management aligned with security standards and best practices.
• Knowledgeable about industry standards and regulations such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
