Dark Store Supervisor

Overview

The Dark Store Supervisor oversees daily operations within the dark store, focusing on effective inventory control, precise order processing, and timely dispatching to meet all key operational performance indicators and service level agreements.

Key Duties

• Manage and oversee processes of receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching orders.
• Lead warehouse personnel ensuring high productivity and consistent attendance.
• Maintain stock accuracy through routine cycle counts and restocking activities.
• Ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately and on schedule.
• Track operational KPIs including productivity rates, accuracy of orders, and compliance with SLAs.
• Enforce health, safety, and quality regulations within the work environment.
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and other related teams to streamline operations.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations for the team.
• Implement process enhancements to improve overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of three years experience in warehouse, dark store, or Q-Commerce operations.
• Proven track record of managing teams in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Practical experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory control, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong leadership qualities paired with effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Prior experience in same-day grocery or Q-Commerce fulfilment operations is an advantage.
