Data Scientist / Data Visualization Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and analytically skilled Data Scientist / Data Visualization Analyst to become a key contributor to our expanding data team in Frankfurt, Germany. This full-time position demands expertise in processing and interpreting complex data sets to produce insightful and actionable business intelligence. The successful candidate will create engaging dashboards and visual presentations to inform strategic decisions while cooperating with various departments to apply data-driven methods to business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, sanitize, and analyze extensive data sets sourced from multiple channels.
• Create dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations utilizing business intelligence platforms.
• Implement statistical methods and machine learning to detect trends and extract meaningful insights.
• Develop and uphold data models that underpin reporting and analytics efforts.
• Partner with stakeholders to capture business needs and convert them into analytical solutions.
• Track essential KPIs and communicate results to management teams.
• Assist in enhancing data pipeline and reporting workflow efficiencies.
• Guarantee data precision, quality, and uniformity across systems.
• Maintain thorough documentation of analytics techniques, reports, and technical procedures.
• Keep abreast of advancements in data science, artificial intelligence, and data visualization technologies.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, IT, Analytics, or closely related area, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Familiarity with data analytics programming languages like Python, R, or SQL is advantageous.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and data visualization software such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts and statistical analysis techniques.
• Understanding of SQL database management and data warehousing principles.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is beneficial.
• Strong capabilities in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical reasoning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to deliver presentations effectively.
• Ability to work autonomously and within collaborative teams in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English is essential; German language skills are an added advantage but not compulsory.
