Engineer - Finishing - Site

Job Overview

This position involves overseeing and executing all finishing operations at the construction site, focusing on both interior and exterior architectural finishes. The aim is to deliver high-quality finishing work such as plastering, flooring, tiling, cladding, carpentry joinery, painting, and installing false ceilings, strictly following approved plans, client requirements, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and direct the implementation of finishing tasks including plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, cladding, joinery, and ceiling fitting.
• Accurately interpret architectural drawings and finishing specifications to be applied effectively onsite.
• Collaborate with civil engineering, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), and quality assurance teams to guarantee seamless process integration and avoid conflicts during execution.
• Manage contractor teams by assigning work areas, monitoring progress, and enforcing productivity and workmanship standards.
• Ensure essential resources such as approved drawings, materials, tools, and mock-ups are available on schedule by coordinating with design and procurement departments.

Collaboration and Quality Assurance

The role requires working closely with project management, design, MEP, procurement, and QA/QC divisions to align finishing operations with the overall project timeline and quality objectives.
