Job Responsibilities

Oversee the setup, qualification, and upkeep of analytical and failure analysis equipment essential to semiconductor fabrication processes.
Conduct preventive maintenance, calibration, and resolve operational issues to maximize equipment availability and performance.
Collaborate closely with process engineers, R&D, and quality assurance teams to address equipment-related issues affecting product yield and efficiency.
Liaise with equipment vendors and suppliers for service, upgrades, and inventory management of spare parts.
Track equipment performance metrics, evaluate trends, and lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize operational efficiency.
Maintain thorough documentation, equipment logs, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational protocols.
Provide training to technicians and engineers on proper equipment operation, maintenance cycles, and industry best practices.
Support laboratory workflows and contribute to strategic equipment optimization initiatives.
Travel may be necessary as part of job requirements.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
In-depth knowledge of semiconductor equipment functioning and maintenance protocols.
Advantageous to have familiarity with vacuum technologies, automation systems, or programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Preferred understanding of semiconductor production methodologies.
Ability to coordinate cross-functional efforts and adhere to deadlines effectively.

Experience Requirements

Between 2 to over 5 years of relevant experience within the semiconductor industry or analytical laboratory environment.
Practical experience in equipment installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting.
Exposure to analytical and failure analysis instrumentation is a valued asset.
Demonstrated capability to resolve equipment-related challenges through effective problem solving.
