About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company invites applications for the pivotal role of Executive Director - Development, focusing on theme parks. This key leadership position is responsible for steering projects that aim to deliver globally renowned theme park experiences in alignment with Qiddiya's visionary objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute holistic strategies to ensure theme park projects meet Qiddiya's strategic standards and vision.
• Lead cross-functional teams through the stages of planning, design, construction, and commissioning.
• Oversee budget management, scheduling, and allocation of resources to guarantee timely and cost-effective project completion.
• Collaborate with master planners, architects, engineers, and creative professionals to craft innovative and immersive park concepts.
• Maintain strict compliance with safety protocols, regulatory guidelines, and industry benchmarks during all development phases.
• Engage with governmental bodies, partners, and community stakeholders to build cooperative relationships and garner support.
• Champion continuous advancement in project delivery processes, sustainability efforts, and enhancing the visitor experience.
• Provide senior leadership with consistent status reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
• Mentor and nurture high-caliber teams, promoting a culture devoted to excellence and innovation.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 15 years of experience managing large-scale theme park or entertainment development projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in intellectual property management and integration within theme park settings.
• Successful history in leading complex theme park projects from concept to delivery.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the skill to inspire multidisciplinary groups.
• Advanced financial management experience handling sizable project budgets.
• Comprehensive understanding of theme park design criteria, construction standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a high-paced, evolving, cross-cultural environment.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
