FRS Training Instructor

Role Overview

Survitec Group Ltd. is seeking a dedicated FRS Training Instructor for a permanent full-time position based in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the skills and capabilities of service technicians through comprehensive training programs and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in formulating the annual training plan for service technicians and deliver training content in collaboration with subject matter experts, ensuring trainee understanding and confidence.
• Implement all phases of the training cycle, guide service managers and technicians on maximizing development opportunities, conduct training needs analysis, deliver and evaluate competence to standards, and analyze training feedback for continual improvement.
• Collect business insights to enhance Survitec's service technician training programs.
• Effectively present training topics by segmenting them into manageable units, adapting pace and complexity according to the audience's skills and language proficiency.
• Lead and facilitate competence assessments, support service operations managers in scheduling and standards compliance, and provide coaching to deepen technicians’ comprehension and application of training material.
• Coordinate with the training coordinator to maintain accurate training records and certify participants appropriately.
• Conduct regular audits of training records, ensuring data accuracy and identifying needs for refresher training.
• Perform service technician tasks when possible, demonstrating current operational skills and participating in skill reviews and assessments to sustain personal competence.
• Foster a community of technicians by sharing expertise, encouraging best practice exchange, and applying continuous improvement methods.
• Utilize hands-on experience to review and update key training content, processes, and standards.
• Identify and report incidents of non-compliance, escalate issues, and collaborate with teams to resolve and improve operational processes.
• Support investigation of service operations incidents and implement corrective actions learned from these events.
• Create an inclusive and supportive team environment aligned with Survitec's core values where team members feel respected and free to express themselves.
• Promote and maintain a safety-first culture, ensuring a safe and healthy workplace.
• Commit to personal growth through assessment, planning, training, coaching, and maintaining industry knowledge, including securing or holding relevant professional accreditations.

Candidate Profile

• A degree from a university or vocational equivalent qualification is required.
• Possess between 6 to 10 years of profound subject matter expertise to fully competent levels.
• Have 1 to 3 years of experience in managerial roles involving planning and resource management to achieve business goals.
