Role Summary

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining comprehensive web applications encompassing front-end user interfaces and back-end services with database integration. The role entails implementing new functionalities, enhancing application performance, resolving software bugs, and collaborating with product and design teams to deliver user-friendly experiences. You will be expected to write clean and maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to scalable and reliable architectural decisions. This position is full-time and requires working onsite in Nairobi as part of a small, agile team focused on rapid product iteration and delivery.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong capabilities in full-stack and software development, with experience delivering end-to-end web applications.
• Proficiency in front-end development technologies including CSS and modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries.
• Experience in back-end web development encompassing server-side frameworks, API development, and database integration.
• Hands-on familiarity with version control systems such as Git, along with testing methodologies and debugging tools.
• Demonstrated work on production-level web apps, understanding of agile processes, and excellent problem-solving skills.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also acceptable.
• Effective communication, collaboration within small teams, and ownership of features throughout the development lifecycle.
