Role Overview

Al Moftah Al Dhabi Building Contracting is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join their team in Berlin, Germany. This entry-level full-time position is designed for individuals who are eager to engage in data collection, analysis, and reporting to support informed business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Gather, cleanse, and verify data from various sources to maintain high data quality.
• Examine datasets to detect trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Generate regular reports, dashboards, and visual summaries for stakeholders and management.
• Contribute to the development and upkeep of business intelligence reports and key performance metrics.
• Facilitate data-driven decision-making by delivering relevant analytical recommendations.
• Monitor KPIs and assist in measuring business performance.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses supporting operational, financial, marketing, and strategic projects.
• Work collaboratively with cross-departmental teams to address reporting needs and business requirements.
• Preserve data integrity and adhere to data governance standards.
• Help automate reporting processes and enhance data collection workflows.
• Document methodologies, data sources, and reporting procedures thoroughly.
• Keep abreast of the latest tools, techniques, and best practices in data analytics.

Candidate Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of data analysis, statistics, and reporting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced features like formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
• Preferred experience with SQL for data querying and extraction.
• Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio is beneficial.
• Basic familiarity with Python, R, or similar analytical programming languages is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail ensuring data accuracy.
• Effective communication skills to clearly present analytical findings.
• Capability to manage multiple assignments and comply with deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
• Preferred educational background includes a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
