Junior Data Analyst

Role Overview

We are searching for a Junior Data Analyst proficient in SQL and Python who is enthusiastic about converting data swiftly into meaningful insights. You will participate in projects supporting Federal Health Agencies by developing advanced analytics and reporting systems that improve healthcare quality. Due to federal regulations and the confidentiality of the work, US citizenship is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate extensive datasets for analytical reporting purposes.
• Conduct data exploration and source profiling.
• Keep data documentation and definitions accurate and up-to-date.
• Deliver clean, processed data prepared for analysis.
• Help maintain essential business intelligence dashboards by providing actionable data.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 1 to 2 years practical experience with SQL.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing concepts such as OLAP and dimensional modeling.
• Familiarity with version control tools like GitHub.
• Advanced SQL skills and basic statistics knowledge.
• Intermediate Python programming experience.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Self-driven with ability to take initiative from requirement gathering to result delivery.
• Effective working capabilities both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly detail-oriented with capability to autonomously learn new relevant techniques as needed.
• Candidate must be a US resident and citizen.
• Flexible attitude towards shifting priorities as business needs evolve.

Additional Information

The role offers a salary range between $50,000 and $60,000 annually accompanied by benefits.
