Logistics Analyst

Position Summary

The Logistics Analyst role supports the Logistics Manager by ensuring prompt and precise purchase order processing while maintaining communication with both internal teams and external partners. Alongside managing POs, this position involves project participation and collaboration with the Inventory Planner. As a key link in customer communication, the analyst must cultivate relationships with various stakeholders to foster effective cooperation. Duties extend to supporting the Supply Chain team with tasks such as ad hoc reporting, inventory reconciliation, and maintaining SOP documentation. Regular coordination with team members and supervisors helps prioritize daily workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred; extensive relevant experience may be accepted as alternative.
• Minimum of two years experience collaborating with third-party warehousing and logistics providers.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Suite applications.
• Experience with NetSuite is advantageous.
• High attention to detail ensuring consistent accuracy in work output.
• Strong communication capabilities internally and externally with a customer-centric approach.
• Strict adherence to procedures supporting audit trail compliance.
• Adaptability to evolving directives and operational shifts.
• Proactive, self-driven, collaborative personality.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders from acknowledgement through delivery completion.
• Coordinate fulfillment instructions with third-party warehouse partners.
• Support inventory management upon arrival at 3PL locations.
• Record issues identifying discrepancies between expected and actual 3PL performance.
• Participate in service meetings with 3PL providers, collaborating on financial topics with the Finance team as required.
• Reconcile factory purchase orders and process container receipts as directed.
• Generate packing lists and prioritize load orders.
• Troubleshoot order processing problems, communicate shortages, and implement necessary revisions.
• Maintain order status updates by liaising with sales personnel.
• Produce reports upon request to support operational transparency.

Physical and Work Environment

The role primarily involves sedentary office work with occasional lifting of items up to 20 pounds, such as file boxes. The working environment is office-based, often allowing presence of companion animals, with flexibility for partial remote work from home.

Performance and Review

Employment begins with a 90-day probation period including evaluations at 30, 60, and 90 days involving feedback and progress discussions. Annual performance reviews provide formal opportunities for growth assessment and feedback.
