Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and sustain production-grade machine learning systems that enable AI-focused products.
• Own every stage of the machine learning lifecycle including data handling, model development, evaluation, deployment, inference, monitoring, and iterative improvements.
• Convert research findings into scalable and reliable production implementations aligning with business and technical goals.
• Identify and resolve issues related to model performance and production anomalies by analyzing live data and usage insights.
• Continuously enhance models with a focus on accuracy, latency, scalability, dependability, resource efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to embed machine learning features into production solutions.
• Provide mentorship to fellow engineers by offering technical support, conducting code reviews, and fostering knowledge transfer.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and model inference workflows ensuring system stability under operational demands.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience designing, building, and deploying machine learning systems in production settings.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or JAX.
• Hands-on experience with GPU-accelerated model training and inference, including system performance tuning and deployment at scale.
• Well-versed in modern machine learning model behavior in production and adept at troubleshooting potential failure points.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and production-quality code with a systems engineering approach.
• Experienced in independently managing projects from idea to deployment, balancing delivery speed with quality and stability.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on iterative, data-driven model improvements.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and experience collaborating across research, engineering, and product functions.
• Previous experience mentoring or providing technical leadership is advantageous.
