Mission Advisor

About the Role

This permanent, full-time position based in Wellington offers a hybrid working model. The remuneration package will be tailored to the candidate's experience.

The Mission Advisor will support initiatives focused on youth engagement, education, and advocacy that advance social justice throughout Aotearoa New Zealand. This role centers on collaboration with Catholic school communities and young people by contributing to the development of programmes, resources, and campaigns aimed at raising social justice awareness nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with schools, educators, and community partners to support workshops, events, and advocacy initiatives.
• Assist in integrating Te Ao Māori perspectives within organisational activities.
• Promote social justice through youth and educational engagement, in alignment with Catholic social teachings.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should possess experience or a strong interest in the fields of education, youth development, or advocacy. Effective communication skills and a firm commitment to Catholic social teaching are essential.
