Role Overview
The Operations Coordinator role is a full-time, on-site position located in Salisbury, Queensland. The key duties include overseeing daily operations related to warehousing, logistics, and order fulfillment to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of products. Responsibilities encompass managing scheduling, tracking inventory levels, processing orders, and maintaining effective communication with internal staff and external vendors. The coordinator will also contribute to process enhancements, uphold safety and quality regulations, and assist with operational performance reporting and key metric tracking. Additional tasks involve addressing operational questions, ensuring systems and documentation are current, and supporting the operations team with general administrative duties.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle several priorities and deadlines efficiently.
- Background in operations, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain functions, particularly within industries like manufacturing or beverages.
- Competent user of office software such as Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with inventory and order management tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills facilitating collaboration with team members, suppliers, and clients.
- Keen attention to detail for accurate documentation, order entry, and data management.
- Dedicated to maintaining safety protocols, quality benchmarks, and ongoing operational improvements.
- Capability to work on-site in a dynamic and fast-paced environment in Salisbury and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Experience in mining/resources, hospitality, or beverage sectors is advantageous; knowledge of Indigenous-run businesses is a plus.
- Vocational or academic credentials in operations, logistics, business, or related fields are beneficial but not mandatory if equivalent experience is demonstrated.
