Role Overview

This role is responsible for shaping and evolving the peer-to-peer trading product, with a focus on improving efficiency, liquidity, safety, and the overall user journey. The product manager will work across trading flows, user experience, risk scenarios, and cross-functional coordination to strengthen the marketplace.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of product strategy, roadmap planning, and ongoing improvements for the P2P trading platform.
Refine and streamline key trading journeys such as ad placement, request matching, order initiation, payment verification, dispute resolution, and merchant operations.
Increase conversion and order completion by improving user flows, payment experiences, and trading interactions.
Assess transaction risks and unusual cases, including disputes, fraud, cancellations, and malicious behavior, while working with risk teams to strengthen platform protection.
Build trust and safety features for both buyers and sellers, such as escrow support, appeals handling, and warning mechanisms.
Track critical platform indicators like completion rate, dispute rate, liquidity, transaction volume, and retention, then use data insights to guide product improvements.
Work closely with operations, customer support, compliance, and risk functions to improve governance and the trading experience.
Study user needs and market trends to uncover growth opportunities and improve supply-demand balance in the marketplace.

Requirements

At least 3 years of product management experience in P2P marketplaces, second-hand commerce, e-commerce, fintech, or a closely related field.
Strong knowledge of marketplace transaction models, user behavior, and trust-and-safety frameworks.
Ability to break down complex user issues and improve transaction flows using data-backed decisions.
Strong product thinking with a user-first mindset and the ability to create simple, efficient trading experiences.
Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to independently take initiatives from idea stage to launch.
Exposure to fraud prevention, dispute handling, or platform governance is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with cryptocurrency exchanges or peer-to-peer crypto trading products is preferred. Background in second-hand marketplaces or other peer-to-peer transaction platforms is also useful. Additional experience improving conversion, liquidity, or retention metrics, as well as familiarity with payment systems, escrow models, or risk control processes, will be considered a plus.
