Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous Product Development Coordinator to oversee and execute daily processes within the product development department. The position requires close collaboration between design, product development heads, and production teams, emphasizing adherence to timelines, precision, and efficient implementation in the product development (PD) room.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the end-to-end sampling workflow in the PD room.
- Liaise effectively with design teams, PD leadership, and factory personnel for sample creation.
- Accurately interpret techpacks and design briefs to ensure correct sample development.
- Coordinate procurement and follow-ups for fabrics, trims, and necessary materials for samples.
- Maintain strict sample timelines and guarantee timely delivery.
- Simultaneously track progress across various product developments and provide regular status updates.
- Organize and archive samples, swatches, approvals, and revision documents systematically.
- Identify and promptly report any delays or issues arising during development.
- Assist the PD Head in maintaining product quality, finishing standards, and detail accuracy.
Performance Metrics
- Speed of sample turnaround.

Qualifications and Skills
- Foundational knowledge of product development processes in soft home, toys, or textiles sectors.

- Strong coordination and persistent follow-up capabilities.
- Keen attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication skills for seamless internal team coordination.
- Proficiency in Excel and related tracking tools.
