Project Manager - Retail

Overview

Johnson Controls is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the deployment of Sensormatic solutions across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region's shopping malls and retail stores. This role focuses on managing installation and commissioning of traffic and demographic measurement systems in new retail openings and refits.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate rollout of Sensormatic traffic and demographic solutions throughout MEA retail locations.
• Supervise installation and commissioning activities ensuring first-time right execution.
• Manage coordination among technical teams, subcontractors, and internal planners for seamless project delivery.
• Ensure projects meet scope, budget, timeline, and quality targets.
• Identify and mitigate risks, handle project changes, and monitor costs and resource allocation.
• Maintain adherence to health and safety standards and project management methodologies.
• Conduct site meetings to assess requirements, readiness status, and handover processes.
• Drive continuous process improvements and efficiency gains throughout project executions.
• Build and nurture strong, long-lasting client and internal stakeholder relationships to sustain high satisfaction levels.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills in both English and Arabic.
• Possession of a project management certification or equivalent proven experience.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Working knowledge of IT and network infrastructures relevant to system installations.
• Highly organized, methodical, and process-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Superior interpersonal skills for effective relationship building and team collaboration.
• Advanced proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
