Job Summary

We are looking to hire an experienced Python Developer with expertise in building smart, data-driven applications that underpin advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) AI systems. The candidate should demonstrate strong backend development capabilities and practical knowledge of AI model integration, vector databases, and autonomous agent frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Python-based AI applications utilizing LLMs and RAG techniques for enterprise solutions.
• Create and deploy custom LLM pipelines encompassing data preprocessing, model fine-tuning, and inference optimization.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation workflows integrating embedding creation, information retrieval, and contextual text generation.
• Engineer robust applications using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Haystack, including database and API integration.
• Construct and maintain tool-enabled AI agents capable of reasoning and performing autonomous tasks, with platforms such as CrewAI, LangGraph, and AutoGPT.
• Design modular APIs and microservices to support both internal and client-facing AI functionalities.
• Collaborate closely with machine learning and data teams for cloud deployments, scalability strategies, and monitoring on platforms like AWS Sagemaker and Azure ML.
• Apply prompt engineering methods to enhance LLM output reliability, context relevance, and performance.
• Keep detailed documentation on AI system architecture, data workflows, and integration dependencies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Over 3 years of Python development experience focusing on backend or AI system development.
• Strong command of REST API design principles, asynchronous frameworks such as FastAPI and Flask, and modular software architecture.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs using OpenAI, HuggingFace Transformers, or Anthropic SDKs.
• Familiarity with vector databases including Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, or Qdrant.
• Experience with orchestration frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar for retrieval and agent-based AI design.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques such as few-shot prompting, chain-of-thought reasoning, and context-grounded prompt design.
• Experience with cloud-based machine learning endpoints development and consumption.
• Proficiency using SQL and NoSQL databases for metadata storage and embedding management.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to profile performance of production-grade AI systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in building multi-agent AI architectures or frameworks for tool-augmented reasoning.
• Familiarity with LLM fine-tuning and parameter-efficient training methods like LoRA and QLoRA.
• Experience with AI observability and monitoring solutions such as LangFuse, Phoenix, or Traceloop.
• Prior involvement in healthcare data systems or Revenue Cycle Management automation projects.
• Contributions to open-source AI or custom NLP library development.
• Experience related to the US healthcare sector or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) domain.
