Role Overview
Yorkshire Housing seeks a dedicated Resource Planner to ensure seamless operations of their mechanical and electrical services. This role requires coordinating teams efficiently to guarantee timely and effective customer service.
Key Accountabilities
- Schedule and coordinate responsive repairs within in-house teams, maintaining flexible and efficient diaries.
- Rapidly respond to emergencies and last-minute changes, minimizing service interruptions.
- Oversee compliance scheduling for gas and electrical teams.
- Serve as a reliable contact for customers by providing updates, arranging appointments, and ensuring excellent support.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, team leaders, and suppliers to maintain project timelines.
- Keep systems and trackers updated with accurate and current data.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in housing or comparable dynamic sectors, preferably social housing.
- Excellent customer communication skills and adeptness in immediate problem resolution.
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities with attention to detail.
- Competence in intermediate Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with regional geography and travel estimations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills.

Employment Details
- Annual salary: £31,275.75
- Contract duration: Fixed-term for 12 months with agile homeworking options
- Working hours: Full-time, 35 hours weekly
- Annual leave entitlement: Starts at 26 days, increasing to 31 days, plus bank holidays
