Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Security Officer to join our Dublin-based team. The primary responsibility is to safeguard the premises by conducting routine patrols, managing facility access, and monitoring surveillance systems to protect personnel and property. Daily functions include overseeing CCTV, responding promptly to alarms or incidents, maintaining detailed incident logs, and generating accurate reports. The role requires enforcing site regulations, assisting during emergencies, and fostering cooperation with clients and colleagues to maintain a secure setting. A professional demeanor with excellent communication skills is essential to assist staff and visitors respectfully and clearly.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong surveillance, awareness, and incident documentation capabilities to quickly identify and address security threats.
• Proficient verbal and written communication in English to interact effectively with visitors, clients, and team members.
• Experience with security operations such as access control, patrolling, especially within corporate, commercial, or industrial environments.
• Basic knowledge of emergency response processes, including coordination with emergency responders.
• Demonstrated trustworthiness, confidentiality, and adherence to security protocols and company policies.
• Physical fitness adequate for regular patrols, standing for long periods, and rapid response to incidents.
• Possession of relevant security certifications or licenses valid for working as a Security Officer in Dublin or surrounding areas.
• Familiarity with security technology, including CCTV, access systems, communication radios, and digital reporting platforms.
• Prior security or safety role experience is preferred, particularly in multi-tenant or busy locations.
