Role Overview

Lakshmi Electrical Control Systems is looking for an experienced Toolmaker to work from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This position focuses on plastic injection mould making, trial support, troubleshooting, and customer-side commissioning of moulds.

What the Job Involves

• Build and assemble plastic injection moulds with a strong working understanding of the process.
• Carry out mould trials and support the completion of trial activities.
• Work confidently with engineering plastics and their material characteristics.
• Operate standard tool room machines as needed for day-to-day work.
• Use basic measuring tools accurately during fitting, inspection, and checking.
• Study post-trial problems in a systematic way and resolve issues effectively.
• Use foundational CAD knowledge where required for the role.
• Coordinate with tool room QA teams, review trial reports, and close mould-related issues quickly.
• Travel to customer locations for mould commissioning when required.

Experience Required

The role calls for 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
