This opening is for an experienced Turf Manager to take charge of pitch development and ongoing maintenance for a flagship stadium project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Core responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day upkeep, care, and match-readiness of the stadium’s Paspalum surface.
- Design and run irrigation, fertilization, and disease-management plans suited to Middle Eastern weather conditions.
- Build and carry out pitch preparation plans for matches and training activities.
- Supervise, coach, and develop the local ground staff team to preserve surface quality.
- Use and maintain turf machinery and grow lights.
- Track pitch condition through testing of hardness, moisture, and traction.
Required background
- Hands-on expertise in managing Paspalum turf is essential.
- Direct experience working on English Premier League stadium pitches is mandatory.
- Exposure to the GCC region is preferred.
- Strong spoken and written English skills are required.
Preferred education
- A degree or diploma in Turf Science, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
- Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
