About the Internship

This internship offers a comprehensive experience in software development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and large language model (LLM) integration within a technology-driven company focused on digital transformation. Interns will be actively involved in coding, testing, deploying, and maintaining both front-end and back-end software across various programming languages and frameworks. They will gain knowledge of database management, RESTful API integration, and collaboration tools like Git. Alongside core software engineering, the role includes learning and applying AI/ML fundamentals with exposure to modern generative AI platforms such as OpenAI and others, including prompt engineering and vector search technologies.

Project participation encompasses feature development, code reviews, debugging, and technical problem solving. Interns will support client communication, translating business needs into actionable development goals, and contribute to discussions ensuring alignment across teams. This position requires keeping abreast of emerging technologies and integrating relevant advancements to improve product offerings and development processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in designing, coding, testing, and deploying maintainable software solutions using languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Develop and enhance full-stack application features and manage database operations primarily with MySQL.
• Integrate REST APIs, third-party services, and SDKs to enrich application functionality.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and maintain software adhering to engineering best practices.
• Acquire practical AI/ML skills by working with datasets, model training, inference, and evaluation using tools like NumPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn.
• Engage with cutting-edge generative AI platforms and employ LLMs for code assistance, automation, and productivity enhancement.
• Apply prompt engineering techniques and work with embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and AI agents to build advanced AI features.
• Translate client requirements into concrete technical objectives and deliver features, prototypes, and product improvements.
• Participate in client interactions to understand needs and effectively communicate between technical teams and stakeholders.
• Research and evaluate new technology trends, frameworks, and AI models to support continuous product and process innovation.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in programming concepts, logical problem-solving, and software development methodologies.
• Hands-on coding experience through academic or personal projects in relevant programming languages.
• Familiarity with AI/ML fundamentals and awareness of recent generative AI and LLM technologies.
• Comfortable evaluating AI-generated code and outputs critically, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools.
• Knowledge of Git version control, API usage, database handling, and cloud platforms is beneficial.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with confidence in explaining technical topics to varied audiences.
• Proactive attitude, ownership of tasks, adaptability, and the ability to balance independent work with team collaboration.
• Interest in continuous learning and staying current with software and AI/ML industry developments.
• Strong interpersonal skills for client engagement and cross-team coordination.

Additional Information

• Role is full-time and requires physical presence at the Bangalore location.

• Monthly stipend ranges from ₹10,000 to ₹15,000.
