Role Overview
This position is for an Assistant Manager in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, supporting procurement-related activities across services, goods, and project execution. The role involves cross-functional coordination, commercial review, vendor management, and follow-up on contractual and post-award matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out market research to support the sourcing of services and goods.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and other internal teams as needed.
- Draft internal notes and documents required for approvals.
- Review and approve billing breakups.
- Apply knowledge of contract terms and conditions in day-to-day work.
- Handle procurement tasks for large capex requirements across different projects.
- Work with bank guarantees and advance payment-related matters.
- Maintain a vendor database covering raw materials, spares, consumables, capital goods, and services.
- Prepare and update departmental MIS reports.
- Support post-award work such as change order proposals, quantity/rate variations, extra item claims, time extension requests, and expediting follow-ups to ensure timely delivery.
Qualifications
The role requires a B.E. or B.Tech degree along with at least 4 years of relevant professional experience.

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. This is a full-time, onsite role.
