Your Role
As a Business Development Executive, you will drive business growth by engaging pubs, clubs, and hospitality venues throughout Australia. Your role involves prospecting, building lasting relationships, and expanding Tyro's footprint within this sector by offering innovative payment and business solutions enhancing operational efficiency and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential clients via cold calling, emailing, networking, and social media.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline to support continuous growth.
- Develop and sustain trusted client relationships by understanding their needs and challenges.
- Provide tailored solutions and exceptional customer service to enhance satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with sales teams to craft effective sales strategies and persuasive value propositions.
- Prepare proposals and negotiate terms to close profitable deals while keeping clients satisfied.
- Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and support teams to align efforts toward sales goals and relay market feedback.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, potential clients, and competitive dynamics to uncover new business opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years success in B2B sales, preferably in fintech or technology, selling payment or business solutions to hospitality-related venues.
- Solid understanding of technology products, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-specialists.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working autonomously, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Experience using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Availability to travel as required.
