Job Overview

Homestead Land Holdings Limited invites applications for the role of Cleaner based in Kingston, Ontario. This full-time position requires 40 hours per week, including weekend shifts every alternate week. The role focuses on maintaining the hygiene, safety, and presentation of various communal and tenant spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in common areas like lobbies, hallways, elevators, and stairwells.
• Maintain cleanliness in amenity spaces including lounges, laundry rooms, and fitness facilities.
• Clean tenant units following vacancies, including thorough cleaning of bathrooms and kitchens (ovens and refrigerators).
• Carry out winter snow removal duties.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Prior professional experience in cleaning is preferred.
• Capability to lift weights up to 20 kilograms, such as trash bags or cleaning equipment.
• Dependability, meticulous attention to detail, and adherence to safety guidelines are essential.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills.
