Its partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is growing, aiming to implement the technology at VA medical centers nationwide, enhancing care for Veterans and the clinicians who serve them.

The Role Opportunity

As a Clinical Implementation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role during a period of significant growth—expanding active users from 200 to 7,500 clinicians across 9 VA regions within 90 days and aiming for 150,000 users over three years. You will serve as a clinical expert and trusted resource, delivering training, supporting clinical workflows, troubleshooting, and driving technology adoption directly with VA clinicians and key site contacts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct live virtual training sessions tailored for VA clinicians from various specialties including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and mental health providers.
• Implement train-the-trainer programs to empower Site Points of Contact and Clinical Champions, and provide ongoing coaching and peer support forums.
• Manage training logistics by coordinating schedules, tracking attendance and satisfaction, and updating materials in line with product and user feedback.
• Identify, recruit, and mentor Clinical Champions to establish a community of practice that accelerates adoption and shares best practices.
• Serve as the main clinical liaison, performing workflow assessments, offering specialty-specific AI documentation guidance, addressing provider concerns, and participating in clinical leadership meetings.
• Monitor clinical quality through user feedback, documentation review, escalating safety or quality issues, and supporting quality assurance activities.
• Assist clinicians with workflow optimizations including pre-encounter setups, template usage, and integration with electronic health records.
• Support site implementation launches, provide hands-on presence during go-lives, monitor usage metrics, and address barriers to early adoption with targeted interventions.
• Collect and analyze barriers from multiple sources, conduct root cause analysis, and escalate systemic challenges with proposed solutions for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to evaluation and reporting efforts by tracking training, clinical quality indicators, and compiling utilization summaries and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must hold an active clinical license such as RN, NP, PA, PharmD, or equivalent with at least three years of direct patient care experience.
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation, EHR workflows, and medical decision-making; VA healthcare system experience preferred.
• Proven experience (2-3+ years) in clinical education or healthcare IT training, comfortable with large virtual audiences and diverse learner profiles.
• At least two years of experience supporting healthcare IT implementations or clinical process improvements, with adeptness in managing multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
• Familiarity with healthcare technology, data analysis, learning management systems, and virtual collaboration tools.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to build trust rapidly, and a collaborative work style.

Preferred Additional Skills and Credentials

• Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Public Health, Medical Education, or a related field.
• Prior VA clinical roles, experience with ambient AI or speech recognition tech, and instructional design credentials.
• Training in Human-Centered Design, Lean/Six Sigma, or implementation science frameworks such as RE-AIM or CFIR.

Work Environment and Logistics

• This is a remote position based in the United States with required travel initially 20-30%, which will decrease over time.
• Travel will include visits to VA medical centers nationwide for training, go-lives, and site assessments along with occasional in-person team meetings.
• Core business hours with flexible scheduling including potential early mornings or late evenings to accommodate clinician availability.
• This role reports to the Director of Customer Delivery and involves collaboration with various clinical and implementation teams.
