Data Center Logistic Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and highly organized Data Center Logistic Assistant to join our team at a prominent global technology firm. This role involves managing various logistical operations within a fast-paced data center environment, ensuring seamless delivery coordination and inventory management while complying with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute assigned logistics tasks, maintaining accuracy and efficiency during peak operation times.
• Manage preparation and coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments, including receiving purchase orders and supervising rack movements.
• Maintain precise physical inventory records, facilitate staging and movement of materials, and handle shipping and receiving following established protocols.
• Perform inventory cycle audits, resolve any data discrepancies, and assist in audits related to data center regulatory compliance.
• Ensure secure destruction of data-bearing devices aligning with documented procedures and operational guidelines.
• Adhere strictly to safety and compliance policies, demonstrating keen attention to detail throughout operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• At least one year experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, or inventory management, ideally in an IT-related setting.
• Familiarity with basic Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Prior exposure to data center environments is advantageous but not mandatory.

Work Schedule

• Workdays are Monday through Friday with core hours between 7 AM and 7 PM.
