Demand Planner

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Demand Planner to assist with forecasting, inventory management, and the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process. This role collaborates with teams across Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to build accurate demand forecasts, boost forecast precision, and optimize inventory while supporting overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and update demand forecasts by analyzing past data, industry trends, and business inputs.
• Assist with the monthly SIOP cycle by preparing forecasts and working closely with cross-functional departments.
• Track forecast accuracy and find ways to continuously enhance the forecasting process.
• Work alongside Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure demand plans align with company objectives.
• Provide support for new product introductions, product phase-outs, and inventory planning efforts.
• Examine demand patterns and deliver reports with actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Maintain planning datasets and contribute to process optimizations and system upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or closely related disciplines.
• Minimum of three years’ professional experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, or inventory management.
• Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and demand planning software is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments effectively.
• Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or consumer product sectors is advantageous.
