About the Role

The Entry Level Labour position involves various responsibilities such as physical labor, janitorial tasks, equipment operation, and steam bay duties. No prior experience with equipment operation is required as EVR provides comprehensive internal training for new hires. This role allows for career progression and skills development within the mining industry. The job is based at Elk Valley operations, requiring reliable commuting or relocation near Sparwood, British Columbia.

Work Schedule

The position follows a 4x4 shift rotation, alternating between day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with health and safety programs and policies.
• Perform diverse duties involving physical labor, janitorial work, equipment operation, and steam bay tasks.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Conduct heavy lifting safely.

Requirements

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of a valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Experience in heavy equipment operation or industrial settings is advantageous but not necessary.

Compensation

The salary range is CAD 64,000 to CAD 82,000 annually. This base salary includes hourly wages plus applicable shift premiums, varying by location and based on anticipated annual hours worked.
