About the Role

Join Harry the Hirer's Creative Department as an Event Creative, where you will be a key player in shaping innovative concepts and spatial designs for leading Australian events. This role involves working closely with the Creative, Sales, and Custom Build teams to craft unique event experiences through compelling design, furniture styling, and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts, mood boards, and compelling event design presentations.
• Produce floor plans, spatial layouts, and detailed visualisations using SketchUp.
• Create AI-generated renders and presentation materials that effectively communicate creative ideas.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Production, Marketing, and Custom Build teams to execute outstanding event experiences.
• Stay informed on emerging trends in event design, furniture, and interior styling and integrate them into projects.
• Support showroom styling, creative installations, and new product launches.
• Contribute creatively to some of Australia’s most prestigious events and premium brand activations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in events, exhibition, or interiors design.
• High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong skills in SketchUp for creating spatial visualizations.
• Experience with high-quality visual presentations and AI-generated renderings.
• Solid understanding of furniture, interiors, styling, color theory, and spatial planning.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.
• Effective communication and presentation capabilities.
• A collaborative and proactive approach with a focus on finding solutions.
