Facilities Project Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Facilities Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of facilities management projects spanning commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, and mixed-use environments. The ideal candidate will bring substantial expertise in directing large-scale facilities operations, refurbishment initiatives, maintenance programs, and stakeholder collaboration, while maintaining adherence to quality, safety, and budgetary standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage facilities management projects from start to finish.
• Plan, organize, and track project timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and deliverables.
• Supervise both hard and soft facilities management services ensuring contract and industry compliance.
• Handle refurbishment, renovation, fit-out, and asset replacement projects.
• Engage and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop detailed project execution plans along with risk assessments and mitigation approaches.
• Track project performance, progress, and expenditures, making timely course corrections as needed.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Manage procurement processes, contractor assessments, and subcontractor performance oversight.
• Conduct project meetings and compile progress reports for senior leadership and clients.
• Oversee commissioning, handover, and project close-out procedures.
• Manage the lifecycle of facilities assets efficiently.
• Identify and promote opportunities for operational efficiency, sustainability, and cost reduction.
• Resolve any technical or operational project-related issues promptly.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or related fields.
• Over 20 years of experience in facilities management, construction, or project management roles.
• A minimum of 10 years managing large-scale facilities or maintenance projects.
• Demonstrated history of delivering projects within commercial, hospitality, healthcare, residential, or government sectors.
• Deep knowledge of facilities management principles, asset management, and maintenance methodologies.
