About The Rithm Project
The Rithm Project is dedicated to developing multigenerational leaders who aim to reclaim and evolve human connection amidst the growing influence of AI. Addressing challenges like youth isolation and the dual potential of technology to unite or divide, the organization engages people and ideas to foster a more relational and humane future.
They operate through two complementary approaches:
- The Creative Studio: crafting tools, experiences, and content that encourage young people to become discerning users of AI and advocates for connection.
- The Changemaker Network: bringing together leaders from various sectors and generations to redesign environments and systems that support youth development with thriving connections and healthy AI integration.
Role Overview
As Head of Creative Studio, you act as the creative catalyst who transforms The Rithm Project's insights into accessible stories, products, and experiences that engage wide audiences. This pivotal role synthesizes research findings and network activities into a strategic creative direction that evokes emotional connection and cultural change.
You ensure that the organization’s voice remains nuanced, youth-focused, soulful, and impactful. Your creative toolkit may include zines, social media campaigns, curricula, interactive games, opinion pieces, and immersive theater, aiming to reach a milestone where 10 million young people and their supporters actively choose human connection while harnessing AI to enhance relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to develop a clear, unified creative roadmap spanning communications, education, and experiences (20%).
- Lead the creation, design, and refinement of core creative works; oversee collaborators and maintain the organization’s distinct voice and quality standards (45%).
- Represent the organization publicly by facilitating events, advocating for the mission, and modeling authentic connection (20%).
- Build and nurture partnerships with artists, educators, technologists, and media entities to amplify impact and broaden reach (15%).
Qualifications and Experience
- 8 to 15 years of professional experience in editorial strategy, creative direction, design, or content leadership, ideally in media, education, or social impact sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in synthesizing research and transforming insights into compelling, multi-format content.
- Experience managing creative teams and overseeing complex production workflows.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities across various platforms.
- Familiarity with design and content production tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Canva.
- Proven skill in establishing strategic collaborations and expanding creative influence.

Additional Details
This position is full-time, located remotely within the United States, offering a salary range between $175,000 and $200,000. Benefits include health insurance among others.
